“You just never know what adventure awaits you when you rent a boat from Jacks”

Over the years I have heard so many stories from people who have rented equipment from Jacks that have put a smile on my face. For this reason, I have decided to share some of these stories with you in hopes that they will warm your heart as they have mine over the years. At the bottom of this page is a link for patrons to submit any picture and/or story that are related to their adventure with Jacks Boat Rental. All submissions will be reviewed by me and as the season progresses additional adventure pictures and stories will be posted on this page. Please understand that any submission will become the property of Jacks, and Jacks will not use any names addresses or any other personal information.

These people in the picture rented a double kayak from our Route 6 rental location to explore the Wellfleet bay area and to their surprise came across this whale that got stranded as the tide went out. Realizing that the sun would dry out its skin before the tide came back in enough to allow it to free itself, they proceeded to bathe the whale with water. Other boaters in a quest to save the whale soon joined them; this went on for almost six hours with everyone pitching in. Finally the tide came in enough to free this enormous creature and it swam out of the bay to continue its life in the open ocean.
